My name is Kathryn Daugherty. This year will be my tenth year teaching for Elizabethton City Schools. I also work on the yearbook. 

I went to HME as a child. I'm so happy to be back helping children like my teachers did when I was here. I graduated from EHS and went on to Northeast State to begin my college career. I transferred to Milligan College to complete my teaching degree.

The best part of teaching for me is when I see that light finally come on in a student's eyes when they finally understand something they had been struggling with for awhile.

I love watching football and collecting anything with turtles on it and all things snoopy.

We will have a fantastic year!!!
