The newly offered Senior Capstone Class at EHS has so much to offer for students exploring their future. The Capstone Class was created to help Seniors explore their possibilities for career paths after high school. EHS hopes offering this class with improve the "stay in college rates" and help local kids be prepared for their future. Students will be traveling to various community, private, and local colleges for a tour to receive more information about what the colleges have to offer for their career path. Last week thirty-one students traveled to ETSU to meet with Dr. Brian Noland and staff about education, goals, and what ETSU programs are offered. Students participated in round table discussions with topics such as student involvement, internships, scholarships, career interests, financial aid, admissions, tutoring, and what it's like to be a College Student. Dr. Brian Noland talked about his journey to college and how picking a college can define your future. He also had a question and answer session with the students to help students express their college concerns. Many students have decided to chose ETSU as one of their top picks for their college selection.
