Congratulations to the EHS Crime Scene Investigation Team! Last week, ten upper east Tennessee schools competed in the 7th Annual CSI Competition, and our team placed 2nd.

Winners by category are

  • Cassidy Kaldy and Daemion Davis – Glass Fracture Analysis
  • Tyler Cox – Standardized Field Sobriety Test
  • Danielle Martin – Autopsy
  • Danielle Martin and Morgan Smith – Forensic Anthropology (tie)
  • Lydia Bradley – Constitutional Law

Kenny Hardin and Ryan Presnell work hard to prepare these students with the skills necessary to succeed in law enforcement. This competition is a way to put those skills to the test.

Thanks to the numerous participating schools and law enforcement agencies that work together to make this possible. Not only does it give students excellent experience, but it allows them to apply their skills under pressure.

Students competed in various categories including blood spatter, glass break, fingerprinting, photo and sketch, foot molds, autopsy, field sobriety and more. The competition took place at TCAT Elizabethton
