Updating returning students’ information will be easier for parents at the start of the 2017-18 school year. Beginning on July 27, parents will be able to update returning Elizabethton City School students’ information online with their Skyward Family Access accounts.
These forms include emergency contacts, medical information and release forms. In the past, these were sent home at the start of the school year. However, to make the process easier and to reduce waste, ECS is offering online data forms, and paper copies will only be available upon request from parents.
Most ECS parents are registered in Skyward, but those who are not should contact their child’s school to request access. Parents must provide a current email address to the school to register for Skyward. School staff will then send registration information via email. More information is available online at www.ecschools.net > Parents & Students > Skyward Family Access.
Computers are available at Central Office, at 804 S. Watauga Ave., and at the Public Library downtown. Skyward is the platform used by teachers to communicate student attendance, grades and more. With questions about Skyward, parents should contact their child’s school.
